A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Lodi Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority (the Owner) will receive sealed bids for this work in accordance with contract documents and specifications, together with such addenda as may be issued prior to the date of receipt of bids. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond issued by a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company which is listed in the most recently published U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570, or by certified check in the amount called for in the Specifications, made out to the Lodi Housing Authority. Bids must also be accompanied by affidavits, etc., referred to in the Instructions to Bidders. Regardless of whether the Bid Bond or Certified Check is submitted for a bid guarantee, each Bidder must submit a Consent of Surety also from a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company which is listed in the most recently published U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570, stating that it will issue the necessary Performance and Maintenance Bonds should the bidder enter into a contract for this work with the Lodi Housing Authority. Bids must be submitted, in triplicate, in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Owner, as directed by the Specifications. Envelopes shall contain, on the exterior, the designation of the contract for which the bid is entered, and the name, address and telephone number of the Bidder. Each Bidder must submit, with its bid, security in the amount indicated, subject to the conditions provided in the Project Manual. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of opening thereof. Amount of Bid Bid Guarantee Up to $200,000.00 10% of the Bid All bidders are hereby notified that compliance with the most recently published and applicable Davis-Bacon Wage Requirements will be required in the performance of any contract awarded. During performance of this Contract, the Contractor agrees to comply with P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:25), Law Against Discrimination, current regulations. The successful bidder will be required to obtain a Performance Bond for the full amount of the Contract and a Maintenance Bond for a percentage of the construction cost as defined in the specifications, both from a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company which is listed in the most recently published U.S. Treasury circular No. 570. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid or bids, or reject any and all bids, and to accept any bid or bids and to make such awards as may be in the best interest of the Owner. Contractors shall be advised that this project is being funded by the Bergen County Community Development Block Grant Program. Federal Prevailing Wage Rates shall prevail in this contract. As such, there are several requirements that the contractor must satisfy in order to be awarded this work. Contractors must be currently registered with the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database and have a DUNS number. Accordingly, all requirements of the Bergen County Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) must be followed by the contractor in the performance of this contract.
