Work on this project consists of replacement of the Kimberly Pressure Reducing Station located at the Kimberly Pump Station near the intersection of Kimberly Drive and Fountainwood Street in Agoura Hills, CA. The work entails replacing the existing 6" and 3" pressure reducing station located in a vault to an aboveground station with a new 6" and 4" pressure reducing valve. In addition, approximately 30 ft of underground 8-inch steel pipe upstream and downstream of the station will need to be replaced. A steel bypass line will need to be installed prior to work on the pressure reducing station. The station includes valves, fittings, and pipe supports. The Work is the replacement of the Kimberly Pressure Reducing Station. Time is the essence of the Contract. In accordance with the provisions of Section 24 of the Agreement, the Contractor shall begin the Work on the date specified in the written Notice to Proceed from the District and shall complete all of the Work included in the Contract within specified period of time per Section 24. Time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises.
