Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Calabasas, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Work on this project consists of replacement of the Kimberly Pressure Reducing Station located at the Kimberly Pump Station near the intersection of Kimberly Drive and Fountainwood Street in Agoura Hills, CA. The work entails replacing the existing 6" and 3" pressure reducing station located in a vault to an aboveground station with a new 6" and 4" pressure reducing valve. In addition, approximately 30 ft of underground 8-inch steel pipe upstream and downstream of the station will need to be replaced. A steel bypass line will need to be installed prior to work on the pressure reducing station. The station includes valves, fittings, and pipe supports. The Work is the replacement of the Kimberly Pressure Reducing Station. Time is the essence of the Contract. In accordance with the provisions of Section 24 of the Agreement, the Contractor shall begin the Work on the date specified in the written Notice to Proceed from the District and shall complete all of the Work included in the Contract within specified period of time per Section 24. Time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. Project Duration: 90 Calendar Days Liquidated Damages: $1,500.00 Per Calendar Day Bid Bond: 10% Questions regarding the project may be directed to Oliver Slosser, P.E., at (818) 585-7123. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the said time for bid openings until 60-days thereafter or until the District has made a final award to the successful bidder or has rejected all bids, whichever event first occurs. The Board of Directors of the District reserves the right to select the schedule(s) under which the bids are to be compared and contract(s) awarded. Engineer's Estimated Cost: $100,000 to $150,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Board of Directors of Las Virgenes Municipal Water District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all irregularities in any bid. TIME FOR COMPLETION - ninety calendar days
