Renovation of a medical facility in Mont-Laurier, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Upgrades and improvements to the Mont-Laurier Hospital. The scope of the project includes the installation of a new boiler room with an integrated steam network physically independent of the existing boiler room. The new boilers will use residual biomass in the form of pellets with a capacity estimated at 900 kW and 1,800 kW. A redevelopment of the existing boiler room is required in order to receive an oil-fired boiler to cover redundancy needs, as well as the supply of a steam / water heater. The upgrading of the boiler rooms will have to take into account the future hospital expansion project. TIMELINE: The owner has cancelled the project, tender for the general contractor issued with reference information AE-AO-20250106/20041975 and will not proceed with the construction. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
