To access the Evaluations, click on the "Supporting Documents" on the MASTERWORkS drop down menu or click 'Project Help" on the Help drop down menu in the Automated Editor (the Project Window) window of LINX. for: 2022 Masonry & Paving Projects at Project One Mason(TM) Work at Paul Harding Jr. HS and East Allen Career, and EIFS Restoration Work Center Prince Chapman ES, Project Two Masonry Repairs at Heritage JriSr. HS, Heritage ES, and Woodlan JrVSr. HS Project Three Masonry Repairs at Leo JrJSr. HS antfleo ES Project Four Asphalt and Site Work at East Allen Administration Annex Building Said bid proposal shall include all labor, material and services necessary to complete the above project(s) in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications as prepared by Etica Group, Inc. 2022 Masonry & Paving Projects at Project One Masonry Work at Paul Harding Jr. HS and East Allen Career Project Two Masonry Repairs at Heritage Jr./Sr. HS, Heritage ES, and Woodlan Jr./Sr. HS Project Three Masonry Repairs at Leo Jr./Sr. HS and Leo ES Project Four EIFS Restoration Work Center Prince Chapman ES Project Five Asphalt and Site Work at East Allen Administration Annex Building Bids for each of the three projects are to be received by a single prime con- tractor. Note: Contractor may bid on any one of the three projects individually. It will not be necessary to bid all three projects. Bidders are to include with their sealed bid, a bid deposit of 5% of the total bid in the form of a bank draft, certified check, money order or bid bond. Bids received after the published time will be returned unopened. In the event any bidderwithdraws their bid or fails to execute a contract and/ or furnish all required bonds within ten (10) days after award of contract or contracts to the successful bidder by East Allen County Schools, East Allen County Schools may declare the successful bidder's bid deposit forfeited to East Allen County Schools as liquidated damages. Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the School Corporation, with the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project to which the bid is for on the front of the envelope. Bids submitted by mail are to be addressed to: Mr. Pat McCann, Assistant Superintendent of Administration Services East Allen County Schools 1240 State Road 930 East New Haven, Indiana 46774 Complete and detailed Plans and Specifications for this work, including but not limited to, Instructions to Bidders, Bid Forms and General Conditions are on file and maybe reviewed at the following locations: East Allen County Schools 1240 State Road 930 East New Haven, Indiana 46774 Etica Group, Inc. 407 Broadway Street New Haven, Indiana 46774 Unsuccessfull bidders, upon returning complete plans and specifications, that are in good and usable conditions within (10) days of the bid date, will be refunded their plan deposit. The East Allen County Schools reserves the right: to at anytime reject any and all Bids: to accept any Bid within sixty (60) days after the time of opening of the Bids, which at during this time NO Bids shall be withdrawn; and to waive all formalities or irregularities in the bidding. Completion- May 27, 2022 roject One - Base Work: for the removal and tuckpointing of existing mortar joints, recaulking of existing vertical and horizontal control joints, rebuilding of a portion of identified masonry elevation, and replacement of spalled brick on identified masonry elevations at Paul Harding JR High School and for below grade waterproofing at East Allen Career Center Project One - Alternate One: for the removal and tuckpointing of existing mortar joints, recaulking of existing vertical and horizontal control joints, and replacement of spalled brick on identified elevation at Paul Harding JR High School Project One - Alternate Two: for the removal and tuckpointing of existing mortar joints, recaulking of existing vertical and horizontal control joints, and replacement of spalled brick on identified elevation at Paul Harding JR High School Project One - Alternate Three: for the removal and tuckpointing of existing mortar joints, re-caulking of existing vertical and horizontal control joints, and replacement of spalled brick on identified elevation at Paul Harding JR High School Project One - Alternate Four: for the removal and tuckpointing of existing mortar joints, recaulking of existing vertical and horizontal control joints, and replacement of spalled brick on identified elevation at Paul Harding JR High School Project One - Alternate Five: to cut out and replace caulk in control joints on stone columns on all elevations, patching of columns, and to tuckpoint various stress cracks at East Allen Career Center Project Two - Base Work: for the removal and tuckpointing of existing mortar joints, recaulking of existing vertical and horizontal control joints, and replacement of spalled brick on identified masonry elevations at Heritage JR/SR High School and Woodlan JR/SR High School and for the removal of existing caulk and recaulking of masonry control joints and ends of window sills at Heritage Elementary School Project Three - Base Work: for the removal and tuckpointing of existing mortar joints, recaulking of existing vertical and horizontal control joints, and replacement of spalled or cracked CMU block on identified interior masonry elevations at Leo JR/SR High School and for the removal and tuckpointing of existing mortar joints, re-caulking of existing vertical and horizontal control joints, and replacement of spalled brick on identified exterior masonry elevations at Leo Elementary School roject Five - Asphalt and Site Work Project Three - Base Work: for the identified asphalt pavement repairs, asphalt pavement overlay, and regrading of pavement removal area at the EACS Administration Annex PROJECT SCHEDULE: 1. Thursday, January 20, 2022 – Receipt of Bids 2. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 – Recommendation to School Board 3. Wednesday, February 2, 2022 – Notice to Proceed 4. Contractor will be able to begin preparation of submittals and project planning immediately upon receiving the “Notice to Proceed”. A pre-construction meeting will be required with the Owner and Engineer before construction work can begin. 5. Work at Prince Chapman Academy & Heritage Elementary School may begin immediately following the pre-construction meeting. 6. All other work may begin following the 2021/2022 School year, which is tentatively May 27, 2022 7. Substantial Completion – August 5, 2022 All addendum questions are to be submitted by end of business on Friday, January 14, 2022.
