Calloway County Fiscal Court is accepting Lump Sum Bids for removal and replacement of the existing Outland School Road (CR 1123) bridge #018C00018N Scope of Work: Remove existing structure. Disposal of demolition debris shall be the responsibility of Contractor. Structure Excavation for new bridge length shall be required. Disposal of spoil materials shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. Construct a New Clear Span 24 feet wide and 96 feet long Precast Box Beam Bridge with Guardrail per current KYTC Standard Drawings. Provide adequate concrete abutments on steel piling with wings designed to efficiently retain roadway embankments. Beam Shop Drawings, Abutment sketches, and pile calculations shall be presented to the County Road Department for review prior to construction. Construct a minimum 150-foot asphalt approach for adequate roadway to bridge transition on each side. The Fiscal Court reserves the option to use tax exempt status to purchase major materials to be deducted from the contract after award. All materials and construction methods shall be governed by the current KYTC Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Bidders shall be Prequalified for Bridge Construction with the KYTC. Landowner Agreements for any and all work conducted off County Right of Way is responsibility of Contractor. The Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any or all bids in the best interest of the Calloway County Fiscal Court Bids will be awarded at the Calloway County Fiscal Court Meeting to be held on Wednesday, January 19 at 9:00 AM in the County Courthouse Annex.
