Matagorda County Drainage District #2 requests the submission of hourly rate bid schedules for equipment to be used in the cleaning, clearing and excavation work to be performed within the district. These rate schedules will be used during the calendar year 2022. When submitting a rate bid, use the following guidelines: o Fuel cost must be included in the hourly rate. o Fuel surcharges will not be accepted in 2022. o Trackhoes and Excavators must include the bucket size. o A copy of the contractors insurance needs to be included. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to make all "One Calls/Dig Test" notifications before any type of excavation work begins, including post hole digging during fence repair. All rate schedule bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked "Rate Schedule Bid for 2022". These envelopes will be opened at the regular monthly meeting on January 12, 2022 at the Matagorda County Precinct 4 office. Matagorda County Drainage District #2 reserves the right to accept any or all rate schedules deemed advantageous to the district or to reject any or all schedules submitted.
