The District of Peachland is conducting 4 parallel Request for Proposal processes in order to select preferred consulting firms for the District to use over the next 3 years for the following 4 types of consulting services: Transportation & Stormwater Engineering Services Water & Wastewater Engineering Services - (this RFP# 2021-012B) Planning & Development Consulting Services Environmental (Waterfront & Watershed) Consulting Services In conducting these RFPs, the District seeks to contract with one preferred consultant for each of the 4 consulting types that will enter into a 'Standing Offer' agreement with the District to perform most of the District's services, on an 'if, as and when required' basis, over the 3 year term. There will be no minimum or guaranteed quantity of services. The District may issue separate competitions for projects where the consulting services are estimated to exceed $360,000 (excluding GST). Should the preferred consultant contracted for each consulting type not have resources available to perform services to the District's required timeline for a specific project, then the District may execute a 2nd 'Standing Offer' agreement with the 2nd highest-ranked Respondent from each RFP in order to complete those services. Through this specific Request for Proposals, the District of Peachland invites Proposals from consulting firms experienced in municipal engineering for water and wastewater infrastructure, to become the District's preferred Water & Wastewater Engineering Services Consultant. The engineering services required may include; project scoping, grant application writing, design, engineering, developer reviews, inspections, construction contract administration, plus general analysis and advice. Further details on the requirements are provided in Part A of this RFP. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
