**As of March 11,2022, the project was awarded to Bobo Construction, Inc.** The Project will install native plantings, irrigation, and multi-use trails within an open space preserve creek corridor along a section of Elder Creek. The Project will install native plantings over approximately 16.8 acres, approximately 26,000 feet of irrigation pipe, approximately 2,185 feet of paved bicycle path, approximately 1,510 feet of equestrian trail, a low flow creek trail crossing, and all other work specified on the plans and in the specifications. The Project creek section will be landscaped as a natural riparian corridor by planting native trees, shrubs, wetlands, and grasses within the creek bottom, along the channel banks, and surrounding uplands. The Project includes a minimum 5-year monitoring period that begins after plant installation. Award of this contract requires a valid California Contractor's license with the classification identified above. The landscaping portion of work shall be installed by a Contractor with a Class C-27 Landscaping Contractor License. Bidders are required to submit Attachment A - Bidder's Experience Questionnaire with their bid to detail the licensed Class C-27 Landscape Contractor's habitat restoration experience. Attachment A - Bidder's Experience Questionnaire is an integral part of the bid proposal which must be fully executed and submitted as an attachment to the prime Contractor's bid form. Award of the contract requires the bidder to demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the County, that the bidder possess the experience required to perform the work specified in the contract. Habitat restoration projects are habitat restoration, mitigation, creation, or enhancement projects which generally include site preparation, planting and seeding, weed control including mowing and use of herbicides, and plant maintenance and plant establishment performance criteria. Each bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Contract Documents; however, if none are provided, the surety may issue on its own paper. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Sacramento County, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. Each bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Contract Documents; however, if none are provided, the surety may issue on its own paper. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Sacramento County, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid.
