Renovation of a water / sewer project in North Port, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of North Port, Florida is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for the surface preparation and coating of the exterior of two (2) clarifiers at the Wastewater Treatment Plant used to treat wastewater. One clarifier is a Crom prestressed concrete tank that has a diameter of 73 feet and an external height of 15 feet. The second clarifier is a poured in place tank that is 73 feet in diameter and 15 feet tall. The award of this Quote will be to the lowest overall responsive, responsible Quoter or Quoters meeting or exceeding all the specifications contained herein. Another consideration of award may be references. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all quotes, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission of quotes. Also, the City reserves the right to accept all or any part of the quote and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of the City. Any sole response received on the first submission date may be rejected by the City depending on available competition and timely needs of the City.
