The City of North Port is requesting sealed bids to secure the services of an experienced, professional, licensed, and qualified Contractor capable of providing construction services in accordance with specifications to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to construct the 2021 Lift Station Rehabilitation Project in its entirety as shown on the construction plans. The City reserves the right to establish the exact limits of work in the field and to add or delete from the Project, as it deems necessary. The intent of the Technical Specifications and Contract Drawings, as applicable, isto describe a complete project to be constructed in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents comprise the entire Agreement between the City and the Contractor. They may be altered only by addendum or change order approved by the City. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, fuel, power, water, shop drawings and incidentals to complete construction of all of the work in good faith for the fulfillment of the contract in strict conformance with the contract documents. All materials shall be furnished by the Contractor unless otherwise specified within the contract documents. The Contractor shall perform the work complete, in place, and ready for continuous service, and shall include repairs, testing, permits, cleanup, replacements and restoration required as a result of damages caused during this construction.
