The City of Elk River intends to retain a firm to provide full professional engineering services needed to successfully complete an Urban Services Expansion Study for municipal sewer and water in the northeast area of the city (Exhibit A) which encompasses approximately 2,000 additional acres (Exhibit B). Growth continues in this area of the city and the updated comprehensive plan identifies this area to be included for urban service expansion. Any requests for additional information that may be needed for the preparation of the proposal should be directed to Public Works Director/Chief Engineer Justin Femrite at 763.635.1000 or jfemrite@ElkRiverMN.gov. All questions must be received before 4:30 pm, January 12, 2022. No questions after that time will receive a response. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
