Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Barstow, California. Design plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.

As of March 11, 2024, this project is in the design stage. A general contractor has not yet been selected. Construction is not expected to begin before Q3 of 2024. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ……………….. Provide professional architectural and engineering design for the replacement approximately 340 air handling units (AHU) at the Veterans Home at Barstow including new HVAC units, DDC controllers, related piping/drains/valves, smoke detectors, related electrical modifications, testing and balancing, hard lid ceiling demolition and repairs and integration into the existing Honeywell control system. Work may include but not limited to mechanical, electrical, structural, fire suppression and hazardous material testing/abatement. All work shall be performed under and approved by a design professional, or contractor, licensed in the State of California. The estimated cost of construction for the project contract value is $ 10,500,000.00. The estimated duration of this contract will be 60 months.
