Renovation of a municipal facility in Lockport, Louisiana. Working plans call for the renovation of a 11,207-square-foot municipal facility.

All RFIs are to be submitted by or before 07 January 2022at 2:00PM. CST 1. All materials installed are to match existing and adjacent. In the event that matching materials are no longer manufactured, Contractor is to inform Owner of suggested substitution. Contractor is not to install materials not matching existing finishes without written approval of that material from the Owner 2. Contractor is to take precautions to limit dust and debris from migrating out of work space at all times. Dust Barriers may be required depending on Contractors means and methods. Contractor is to protect tenants and their spaces from dust and debris intrusion. 3. Time is of the essence and once work begins Contractor is to maintain continuous production on the work until complete. 4. Contractor is responsible for all debris removal produced as a result of the work. Daily clean up is to be performed to keep a \safe and clean work environment. 5. F&I R-19 Fiberglass Insulation in cavity between floor deck in attic and retaining strips under Attic floor system. Contractor is responsible for Quantity needed and by bidding the work is assuring that any surface of the first floor currently not insulated will be insulated upon completion. 6. Contractor is to visit the site prior to submitting a bid. By submitting a bid on the project the Contractor is confirming that he/she has visited the site and verified quantities, material types, and all other aspects as required to return the facility to Pre Hurricane Ida Conditions. The proposed Work is for City of Lockport Town Hall, 710 Church St., Lockport, LA 70374 Repairs from Hurricane IDA Each proposal submitted agrees that the bidder will not withdraw his/her bid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids; that if his/her bid is accepted, he/she will enter into a formal contract with the Owner and will furnish the required Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 days after receiving notice of acceptance of a bid. Bidders may obtain a complete electronic set of Bidding Documents by emailing clerk@townoflockport.com The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all formalities. We encourage all small and minority-owned firms and women's business enterprises to apply. A proposed timeline is provided below. Owner does not guarantee the timeline and reserves the right to modify this schedule, upon notice to Bidders, to best meet Owner's needs.
