Contractors interested in a set of documents, they are purchased through AA Blueprint as indicated in the Notice to Bidders. In accordance with drawings and specifications prepared by Hasenstab Architects for the following project: "7th and 8th Grade Building Remodeling" at I Promise School All questions, requests for clarification must be submitted in writing to Hasenstab Architects no later than 7 calendar days prior to the bid opening, to the attention of Brandi Fry at brandif@hasenstabinc.com Bids will be opened and publicly read in the Maintenance Building, 515 Grant Street, Akron, Ohio, immediately after the time for filing of bids has expired. Bids must conform to Ohio Rev. Code 3313.46. Each bid must include a Bid Guaranty as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Akron Public Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities or irregularities that do not affect the amount of the bid or give the Bidder a competitive advantage, and to investigate bidder responsibility. The Work includes but is not limited to revisions in the kitchen to include a new prep and ware wash station; separation of Classroom 032 into a smaller classroom and new Dry Food Storage Room 032A; renovation of the first floor space previously occupied by Paladina Health into four new classrooms, including two new windows and extension of the existing corridor. Project Phasing: Option for early demolition may be available prior to the end of the school year at the discretion of the owner. Early demolition may require off-hour work or limited hours for noise producing work. Early demolition approval shall not incur additional costs to the owner.
