Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Janesville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
New and Replacement Sidewalk - For furnishing all of the labor, equipment and materials and doing all of the work necessary for the construction and completion of approximately 16,400 SF of new sidewalk and 10,300 SF of replacement sidewalk at various locations throughout the City of Janesville including associated restoration. Quest Project Number 8100832. All bidders shall bid in accordance with contract document's Section 2 'Information to Bidders'. The above Public Work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contracts on file with the City Clerk. The determination of the lowest responsible and best bid will be decided by the City Engineer, subject to review by the City Council. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. If applicable, Federal Davis Bacon wage rates are included in the Contract Documents, as well as on file in the City Clerk's Office. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
