The project generally consists of approximately 2,510 feet of new 6" waterlines. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) Wage Rate, as issued by the U.S. Department of Labor and contained in the Contract Documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity or national origin. Adherence to the grant recipient's Section 3 Policy is required for contracts and subcontracts in excess of $100,000.00. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. B. Telephoned and/or facsimiled with confirmation of receipt of message by recipient to all requesting bidders (at the respective phone number furnished for such purposes), with a forward copy by mail, notification will be made no later than three days (3) prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Failure of any bidder to receive notification of any such addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under their bid as submitted.
