As of February 2, 2022, the project has not been awarded. The project will be presented to the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District for award on February 9, 2022. The "2022 Distribution Pipeline Replacements Redmaple Area" project consists of abandoning approximately 5,000 feet of 6" and 4" cast iron pipe installed between the 1950s and 1970s. New 8" C-900 PVC will be installed in the area, along with new fire hydrants and valves. Existing services that are galvanized steel or black poly will be replaced with copper pipe of the same diameter and all existing services will be connected into the new water main. This work will also entail water main hot -tapping, excavation, and asphalt pavement and concrete replacement The general sites of work are located within Millcreek City. The specific roadways are Empire Ave from 700 East to Empire Cir., Empire Cir from Empire Ave.to the two ending circles , Redmaple Rd. from 700 East to 810 East, Redmaple Cir. from Redmaple Rd. to the end, 810 East from Redmaple Rd. to White Maple Way, White Maple Way from Redmaple Rd. to 860 East, 3680 South from 700 East to the end, 3720 South from 700 East to 720 East All work shall be completed within 250 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check,money order or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price payable to the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, provide evidence of worker's compensation insurance, and furnish a satisfactory faithful performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price and a payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price The Owner reserves the right to reject any orall bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
