Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
Request for Supplier Pre-qualifications to establish a Roster of General Contractors for Accessibility Renovations at Meridian Hall. The focus of this renovation is to provide enhanced accessibility through the replacement of existing Washrooms, Travel paths, and supporting systems. The work will start in the spring of 2022 and be scheduled for completion by the winter of 2022. The areas will span all 5 floors of the venue and be completed during its regular operational times. The contractor should be capable of managing multiple trades in multiple work areas in an operational environment in order to be successful in this project. The project will consist of +\- 6 sets of new accessible/ Uni-sex washrooms, New accessible kitchen along with chair lifts and other elevating devices. The work will be constructed in multiple eras of construction from the 1960s to the early 2000s and the constructor shall possess a team that's familiar with construction types of these eras and their hazards. TO Live Project range for this program is: 3 Million - 5 Million CND. Please note that this amount is only an approximation and does not reflect the total amount that will be paid to any Prequalified Supplier.
