Deadline for Submission of Questions February 3, 2022 12:00 Noon SCOPE: Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 2165.001, Custodianship of State Property, and Section 2156.121, Use of Competitive Sealed Proposals, the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) is requesting responses to this Request for Proposal for the provision of providing materials and services required for the installation of a new fire sprinkler system in the Central Services Building (CSB) located at 1711 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin, TX 78701. CONTRACT TERM: This contract shall be effective as of the date of the last party to sign and shall expire on August 31, 2022. The contract may be renewed for three (3) additional one-year maintenance periods, provided the renewal is executed prior to expiration of the current contract term. Any renewals shall be in writing and at the same terms and conditions, plus any approved changes. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: TFC is seeking a contractor to provide a complete a water-based fire sprinkler system and install it on all four (4) floors of the CSB. The fire sprinkler system shall meet (or exceed) the following requirements identified in the solicitation document.
