***As of February 4, 2022, the project has been awarded for the amount of $164,134.25.*** This project is located on five intersections and a commercial driveway on Avenida Bermudas: Calle Amigo, Calle Nogales, Calle Colima, Calle Madrid, Eisenhower Drive, Avenida La Fonda, and Calle Estado. Work includes the removal of driveway, sidewalk, curb, gutter, and pavement to construct modified curb ramps and driveway. Work will also include striping removal, repainting of striping to remain. This project is being financed with Community Development Block Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (24 CFR Part 570) and subject to certain requirements including: compliance with Section 3 (24 CFR Part 135) Economic Opportunities requirements; payment of Federal Davis-Bacon prevailing wages; Federal Labor Standards Provisions (HUD 4010); Executive Order #11246; and others. Information pertaining to the Federal requirements is on file with the County of Riverside Economic Development Agency. The base bid portion of this project shall be completed within 20 working days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed if the City chooses to award the additive alternates a separate 20 working days will be awarded. The additive alternate work cannot begin until May 2, 2022. Mail in sealed bid package: The bid must be received by the City no later than the bid opening time, 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. City will not be responsible for mail delays and will not accept bids after the bid opening time and date regardless of post-mark. Drop off sealed bid package at City Hall prior to bid opening date.
