Renovation of an educational facility in Enfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Prevailing wage rates as outlined in Connecticut General Statutes 31-53 apply. This contract is subject to State set-aside and contract compliance requirements. All bidders for Project with estimated Construction costs greater than $500,000 shall include a current copy of their DAS Prequalification Certificate and DAS Update (Bid) Statement for the applicable Class of Work with their bid. The Town of Enfield reserves the right to accept or reject any, all, or any part of bids to waive formalities or informalities and to award the bid deemed to be in the best interests of the Town. This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including non-discrimination statutes and set-aside requirements. State law requires a minimum of twenty-five (25%) percent of the state-funded portion of the contract be set aside for award to subcontractors holding current certification from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services. The contractor must demonstrate good faith effort to meet the 25% set-aside goals. Completion of Work December 2022 If forwarded by mail or courier, the sealed envelope must be addressed to Director of Finance, Town of Enfield, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut 06082. Bids must be at the Office of the Director of Finance by the time of the Public Bid Opening date
