Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hamilton, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Electrical: Selective interior lighting replacements; PA system replacement; replacement of incoming electrical service and branch circuit upgrades; replacement of the diesel generator with a natural-gas generator; electrical work in renovated areas; exterior wallmounted lighting replacements and site lighting upgrades. There are bid alternates for additional lighting replacements and electrical work related to heating work in the Greenhouse. 1. General Construction: Environmental work, complete renovation of the Locker Rooms, the LGI Room, the High School Library, and Home and Careers Room 107; replacement of curtain walls, storefronts, windows, doors, and exterior soffits, building-wide; selective masonry reconstruction; selective interior door, floor tile, carpet, and ceiling replacements. There are bid alternates for additional curtain wall/window replacements, glass block replacement, and a folding partition. 2. Plumbing: Selective valve, piping, device, and toilet fixture replacements; and plumbing work in renovated areas. There are no Plumbing bid alternates. 3. HVAC: Temperature control upgrades and HVAC work in renovated areas. There are bid alternates to provide louvers in curtain walls and additional heating work in the Greenhouse. 4. Electrical: Selective interior lighting replacements; PA system replacement; replacement of incoming electrical service and branch circuit upgrades; replacement of the diesel generator with a natural-gas generator; electrical work in renovated areas; exterior wallmounted lighting replacements and site lighting upgrades. There are bid alternates for additional lighting replacements and electrical work related to heating work in the Greenhouse. 5. Site Work: Reconstruction of the bus loop, curbs, sidewalks and related drainage improvements; selective paving replacement; and Main Entrance improvements. There are no Site Work bid alternates. Each Bidder must deposit with its Bid, security in an amount and form subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents. Withdrawal of Bids will be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids. Upon returning sets to Plan and Print Systems, deposits will be refunded as follows: l. A Bidder who submits a bid will be refunded its deposit in full. 2. A Bidder who does not submit a bid will not be refunded its deposit. 3. Subcontractors, material suppliers, and others will be refunded their deposits in full. 4. Deposits will not be refunded for documents returned in unusable condition or after 30 days. 5. All Contract Documents (except for those held by Successful Bidders) must be returned to Plan and Print Systems, Inc. Requests for interpretation, information or clarification (RFI) of the Contract Documents must be made in writing to King + King Architects. Responses to RFIs will not be made over the telephone. Responses to RFIs will be advisory only and will not modify the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents stand as published except as modified by written Addenda before bid and Modifications after execution of the Agreement.
