The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities. All bidders must be qualified to bid under the laws of North Dakota. The Contractor shall not sweep the chips off the road in the following locations: Hwy 5 1,476' North of County Hwy 34 to 1,830' North - Through Erie - (Approximately 11,267 SY) Hwy 5 - Just South of tracks (Wheatland) From railroad tracks South of County Hwy 10 to 1,050' South to 34th St. SE- Through Wheatland - (Approximately 4,573 SY) Hwy 10 From State Hwy 18 to 2,575' East to 156th Ave. SE - Through Casselton - (Approximately 10,333 SY) Total pickup area = Approximately 26,173 SY. In this area the Contractor shall use a "pickup" type sweeper to remove and dispose of the chips in a location determined by the Contractor and approved by the Engineer. In places where regular sweeping takes place (all other areas not listed above) the contractor shall sweep all chips to opposite side of the road when rural farms are present along roadway.
