Renovation of a municipal facility in Appleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Requesting bids for a contractor to provide all materials and labor to replace nine (9) HVAC units at one of the County buildings in Appleton. The scope of work includes replacing 9 HVAC units with each having a furnace section and AC unit with rooftop mounted condenser units Contractor shall provide all equipment and ancillary items needed for complete and fully operational systems. In addition to the drawings the follow items shall also be included in the scope of work: - The building will be occupied by tenants of the County from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Contractor may work throughout the business day, however the contractor must make efforts to minimize disruptions for the tenant. It would be a preference for contractor to start earlier than each 8 am each day if possible in order to help limit disruptions to the tenant. Contractors would be allowed to start as early as 6 am and would be allowed to work into the evening if needed. Activities that create excessive or continues loud noises shall be completed outside of the tenant's business hours whenever possible. - To aid in minimizing disruptions to the buildings tenants, contractor shall not start project until all part are available to complete the project. Once started the contractor shall work full consecutive days throughout the workweek for the duration of the project in order to minimize any HVAC outages or disruptions. Interior furnace units shall be replaced one at a time in order to limit widespread heating outages. To assist in consolidating crane time, the rooftop AC units can all be removed at the same time as a group and new units can be lifted to the roof at the same time, however contractor must work to get the new Ac units online as each furnace in completed in order to minimize AC outages. - Contractor shall provide the County with a project schedule at least 5 days before starting work. - Contractors must follow any County and tenant Covid-19 requirements including wearing face covering, daily temperature checks, daily health survey, daily sign in and any other federal, state or local requirements. - Contractor shall provide all hoisting needed for the rooftop condensers and interior HVAC units. - Contractor is responsible for all permits associated with the project Installation of new units must meet all manufactures recommended installation guild lines or requirements. Installation shall also meet all local code requirements. - Perform start up and testing of the complete new system. - Site clear all components from the old system. -Provide a one year parts and labor warranty for new equipment.
