City of Redwood City (City) is seeking a civil engineering firm to develop PS&E (plan, specifications & estimates) for improvements along the entire length of Redwood Avenue between El Camino Real and Fairview Avenue. The Redwood Avenue Sidewalk Curb and Gutter Improvement Project (the Project) will design sidewalk, curb and gutter to prepare for two upcoming projects that will follow. The first project (Project One) will be constructed by a developer that had significant traffic impacts on Redwood Avenue that needed to be mitigated, and that project scope consists generally of intersection and crossing improvements between Hudson Street and the Woodside (SR-84) on ramp (See Attachment B). The second project (Project Two) is a City project to grind and overlay the entire right-of-way for the full length of Redwood Avenue. .
