Bids shall be firm offers, subject to acceptance or rejection within forty-five (45) days of bid opening. Unit pricing shall reflect F.O.B., Victorville, California, and shall remain for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of the Water Board approval. Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, plans, specifications, etc., must request it in writing to the Purchasing Section by no later than 12:00 p.m. on JANUARY 27, 2022 in order to allow a reply to reach all prospective bidders before the submission of their bids. The term of this contract shall be from the date of award by the Water Board, until the end of the 2022-2023 fiscal year (June 30, 2023); with the option to extend the contract for four (4) fiscal years (July 1 through June 30), in one (1) year increments, subject to satisfactory performance as determined by the District. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding process.
