Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Davenport, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.
Question Deadline 10/15/2024 at 1:00 PM CT The proposed improvements affiliated with this project include, but are not limited to, the furnishing of all labour and materials necessary to construct a multi-generational play park amenity on the project site featuring adventure play zone, flexible sport court (including winter ice skating use and lighting upgrades), river walk, and picnic area features while connecting the north and south site segments with an ADA and emergency vehicle accessible bridge structure. For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. G. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City Working Days - Contractor shall complete all work, including final clean up and removal of all equipment for the bid by July 1, 2026, unless modified by Change Order The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities, if it is deemed in the public interest to do so.
