**As of March 9, 2022, project was awarded to Nunes, Inc., awarded amount is $397,340.25.** The Town of Mansfield is seeking a General Contractor for intersection improvements to CT Route 89 and CT Route 195, which is required as part of a new school being built on the existing site of the Southeast Elementary School. The Town may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof and may waive any informalities or reject any and all bids. Said Sureties shall be written by a company acceptable to the Town and licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut and listed on the Federal Treasury Index list and shall be filed with the Director of Finance of the Town. Bidder must agree to commence work within 21 days of a date to be specified in a written notice proceed and to fully complete the project prior to the 90 calendar days completion date excluding winter shutdown. Bidder must agree also to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $1,600 for each consecutive calendar day beyond 90 days as hereinafter provided in the General Conditions.
