Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary for the removal of the cluster of eight mature eastern white pine trees located at the Mansfield Hollow Dam facility. Services are to be provided in accordance with the following scope of work and shall be performed in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the Technical Point of Contact or their representative. Project will consist of the tree removal of eight pine trees ranging in size from 12-inch diameter at breast height to more than 30-inch diameter at breast height. Additionally, project work will require the removal of debris from the project location and stump grinding of all eight pine trees. Project will require tree protection protocols to protect a nearby legacy maple tree. There is potential for high risk nearby from electrical wires and structures. The Mansfield Hollow Dam is located at 141 Mansfield Hollow Road, Mansfield Center, CT 06250. The cluster of trees to be removed are immediately adjacent to the entrance gate on Mansfield Hollow Road. All pre-work safety and product submittals shall be submitted within 21 days of contract award. The government reserves up to 21 days for review and acceptance on each submittal/resubmittal from the date of receipt. If revisions are necessary to the submittals/resubmittals, the contractor shall make such revisions and shall be resubmitted to the government in an acceptable form within 14 days of the government's response, unless additional time is granted by the government in writing. No field work may proceed prior to the acceptance of pre-work submittals.
