To provide all labour, equipment and materials for the humidifier replacement at the Peter D. Clarke Long Term Care Facility. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. To accomplish the above noted objectives, the following scope of work was followed: . Conduct a systematic inspection of all accessible areas of the 17 buildings to document the location, type, quantity and condition of designated substances and special handling materials; . Collect and record representative building material samples for potential laboratory analysis; . Submit representative samples for bulk asbestos and lead laboratory analyses; . Interpret analytical results and prepare a detailed stand-alone survey report identifying the type, location and condition of the designated substances and special handling materials within the 17 buildings: and, . Complete the provided asbestos template datasheet as requested by the City. The datasheet will be used as a reference tool for the City. The survey included all of the designated substances defined by the OHSA, with particular emphasis placed on (but not limited to): . Asbestos-containing materials (ACM); . Lead based paints and plumbing; . Mercury-containing equipment; and, . Potential sources of silica. Special handling materials that were incorporated into the survey include: . PCB-containing equipment; . Ozone-depleting substances; . Urea-formaldehyde foam insulation; . Bird and animal droppings; and, . Mould Award is subject to final approval.
