Demolition, site work, remodeling and addition to a pre-engineered storage facility in Lamar, Colorado. Completed plans call for the addition of a 5,500-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the remodel of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

Qualified contractors are invited to bid on the construction of building additions and remodel of an existing 6-Bay Vehicle Storage Facility (VSF) in Lamar. The additions shall consist of a 1,500 s.f. 10'-0" addition along the south elevation of the existing VSF and a 4,000 s.f. addition with three VSF bays and one admin bay to the west side of the building. The additions shall be pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) structures that are attached to, but structurally independent from, the existing building. The project is located on an existing 2 acre CDOT maintenance site on HWY 287 in Lamar, Colorado. The site currently houses an existing six-bay VSF, a sand shed, a magnesium-chloride containment structure, two single story office buildings and several storage sheds. One of the office buildings will be removed by CDOT prior to the construction of the building addition.
