The City of Tuscaloosa requests qualifications for Professional Engineering and Related Services for the University Blvd East Roadway Improvements Project Professional Engineering and related services will include, but are not limited to: developing a preliminary and final design for and preparing bid documents and construction plans with specifications for shared pathways, road construction, storm drainage infrastructure, improvements, lighting, landscaping, and the conversion of overhead utilities to underground The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Professional Engineering and Related Services for The University Blvd East Roadway Improvements Project, located between 30th Avenue East and Crescent Ridge Road and expected to include, but is not limited to construction of a 10’ shared use path on the north side of the road and 6’ sidewalk on the south side of the road, new storm drainage infrastructure, improvements to existing water and sewer infrastructure, decorative lighting, security cameras, decorative landscaping, and the conversion of overhead utilities to underground.
