The Program includes the
replacement of an existing middle school
and replacement of an existing
elementary school along with renovations
to other existing school facilities. The
purpose of this solicitation is to establish
Master Contracts with contractors to
receive, store in district warehouse, and
move both new and old fixtures, furniture,
equipment (FF&E), and teaching
materials. This Solicitation will establish
unit costs for each contractor. It is the
District's intent to award one or two top
firms for various projects to be assigned
at the Districts option.
The successful firm will coordinate with
regulating bodies, District consultants,
and contractors as necessary. The
District reserves the right to select and
negotiate all or only certain services as
provided by the successful firm.
The District intends to use a qualifications-based selection process as outlined
in ORS 279C.110.
Proposals will be subjected to an
internal committee review and evaluation
process. Brevity and clarity are
appreciated. Top-rated candidates may
be invited to an informal interview. The
District reserves the right to: (1) reject
any or all proposals;
(2) waive any informalities or
irregularities, and (3) select a firm that
appears to be in the best interest of the
District.
There will be no pre-proposal meeting
for this RFP. All Proposals shall be submitted as set
forth in the RFP. Proposers are
responsible for submitting Proposals in
the manner, format, and to the delivery
point required by the Solicitation
Document.
No submittal may be withdrawn after
the hour set for the opening thereof until
the elapse of sixty (60) days after the
date and time set for opening.
Lake Oswego School District reserves
the right to waive any or all informalities
and irregularities, or may cancel the
Request for Proposals; and may reject
any or all Proposals.
