The project consists of an upgrade to the wastewater treatment plant including but not limited to the following: selective demolition of existing components of the trickling filters, primary digester cover, pipe gallery and gas piping. The replacement of the digester cover, internal piping, valves and waste gas burner. The replacement the trickling filter distribution arms and filter media. Construction of a new UV Disinfection system. Work includes general site construction, concrete/masonry tankage, equipment installation and process piping, electrical construction and controls. UV Work also includes the construction of a pole barn above the channel. Contract No. 1 - General; The Bidding Documents must be obtained through the Avalon Planroom in order to be considered a Plan Holder of record. Bidding Documents obtained from any other source are for examination only, are not considered complete and are not valid for bidding purposes. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the offices of MRB Group, and the Village of Victor, 60 East Main Street, Victor, New York 14564, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM; or online through internet based construction information subscription services. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Village of Victor, nor Engineer, nor Avalon will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The Village of Victor, Ontario County County, New York, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. The Work will be substantially completed within 250 days, final payment 270 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. If the CD is to be shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidders active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract.
