As of September 8, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The scope of this project will be to provide all the labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to abandon in place and install approximately 1 mile of 18" ductile iron pipe. This work will include disconnecting from the 5 - 8" main lines and one 10" main line and reconnecting to the new transmission line. Work will also include the installation of a cathodic protection system and all other items as described in the project plans and specifications. The transmission line provides a sole source of water to most portions of the Suncrest development. Work will need to follow the outlined sequence and schedule as provided to limit the duration and number of water shutdowns. Deviations from the sequence will be allowed only as approved.
