Project Category Code: Water/Wastewater Infrastructure, Well Drilling/Pumphouses Description: The Project includes the following Work: The project work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for drilling two water supply wells. The wells will include vertical turbine pumps with electric motors, housed inside of 20' x 12' concrete block well houses with split face CMU exteriors with standing seam roofs. The water supply well shall be drilled to the approximate depths shown on the plans utilizing the reverse rotary circulation method. In addition, a 5-inch diameter test hole and associated testing shall be provided. Additionally, the project will consist of discharge piping to connection to the water system, valves, meters, air release valves, 4-inch drain piping from well house to onsite manholes, ventilation, and heating equipment, VFD, electrical service, site fill, grading, chain-link fencing, aggregate roadway surfacing, relocation of a generator from existing well 2009-1 to well 2021-1, and associated incidental items of work, as shown on the plans, and described in the specifications.
