The Work of this Contract includes vegetation maintenance and litter collection at various Stormwater Management Facilities (SWMF) located within the City of Hamilton. Work will be performed from April 15th through to November 15th of each calendar year. The Work will involve the maintenance of vegetation six (6) times per year, along with litter collection twice (2) per year. Vegetation maintenance will include, but is not limited to, cutting, and trimming of grass, trimming bushes, shrubs, and branches. The removal of vegetation at and around structures, outfalls and inlets. Litter collection is to be performed through the entire SWMF and may at times require entry into the water's edge to retrieve items. Trimmings (except for grass trimmings) and litter collected shall be disposed at appropriate licensed disposal facility at the expense of the Successful Proponent. The Successful Proponent will be expected to perform Work in an orderly manner, as directed by the City's Project Manager.
