Danville-Pittsylvania Regional Industrial Facility Authority Cyber Park Lot 7D Graded Pad Sealed BIDS from qualified contractors for the construction of the Cyber Park Lot 7D Graded Pad The principal features of work to be performed under this Contract consist of site grading, erosion and sediment control, site stabilization, clearing and grubbing and storm water management as described in the drawings and specifications. Each Bid must be accompanied by a BID BOND payable to the Owner for five (5) percent of the total amount of his bid. A CERTIFIED CHECK in the amount of not less than five (5) percent of the bid amount may be submitted in lieu of a BID BOND. A PERFORMANCE BOND and PAYMENT BOND, each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The OWNER reserves the right to waive irregularities and informalities in bids received and to reject any and all bids and to award the contract where it appears to be in the best interest of the Owner. Bidders must be properly licensed as a Contractor in the State of Virginia. Bidder's VA Contractor's license numbers must be on the outside of the bid package or the bid will be rejected. This procurement will be conducted by City of Danville, as agent for RIFA, in general accordance with City of Danville's Procurement Policy; however, nothing in this Advertisement for Bids and related documents shall constitute a waiver by RIFA of its exemption from competition under Virginia Code Section 2.2-4344.B, as amended.
