Public Utility District No. 1 of Franklin County, Washington, as required by RCW 39.80, is requesting a statement of qualifications, experience, and performance data ("Statement of Qualifications") from engineering and related firms who wish to provide professional services for the District as they may become needed. Engineering work may include: the design of various distribution, transmission, and substation projects for the District's electrical plant and other engineering requirements on an as-needed basis for the 2022 calendar year; cost of service and rate design work; engineering studies; pre-design and construction services; surveying, geotechnical, environmental and soils investigations expertise; energy efficiency savings analysis (including commercial and irrigation energy savings studies); assistance with software applications; assisting with determining project cost estimates, both preliminary and final, and preparation of bidding and construction documents; or, provide inspection of projects for compliance with design and to assist in incorporating changes or improvements as may be required. All engineering and related firms interested in providing these professional services shall submit a Statement of Qualifications. These Statements of Qualifications will be reviewed and placed on file, and will be used as a source from which to select one or more qualified candidates from whom a detailed proposal may be requested for any specific project. The District assumes no obligation of any kind for expenses incurred by any party responding to this solicitation. Minority and women-owned firms are encouraged to submit statements.
