Type of Award Lump Sum Bond Bid Bond 0.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 0.00% Q and A Deadline 10/06/2021 5:00 PM In partnership with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), County Connection, and the cities of Concord and Walnut Creek, The Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) is requesting proposals for the deployment of a central conditional Transit Signal Priority (TSP) system on County Connection buses and along various corridors within the cities of Walnut Creek and Concord, initially, with the hope that the system can eventually be expanded countywide in the future. This project is part of MTC's Innovative Deployments to Enhance Arterials (IDEA) program. Under the IDEA program, MTC is the funding agency, program manager, and provides system engineering services to the projects. CCTA and its partner agencies have developed a TSP concept of operations (ConOps) and System Requirements for the project aiming to improve transit travel time, service reliability, and safety, while decreasing emission and fuel consumption. Notice of Intent to Award Date January 19, 2022 Contract Award Date February 16, 2022 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
