Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Flagstaff, Arizona. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Kinney Construction will be awarded this contract. Coconino County retained Gannett Fleming Inc. Team, (GFI) to perform a functional evaluation of Sheep Hill Building B3 Heavy Equipment Shop (Yellow/Orange Iron Shop). The County and GFI identified and assessed major safety, ventilation, and operations improvements associated with shop operations and current functional tasks performed. Viable recommendations are proposed to enhance day to day operations and working environment for the team as part of the Phase 1 improvements. The team has developed 15% Design Plans for the project (Exhibit A) and Probable Constructions Costs. The purpose and intent of this RFQ is to solicit and contract with a licensed general contractor to provide professional Construction Manager at Risk Services for the preconstruction phase, and upon successful completion of those services, the construction phase, at the Coconino County Public Works location at 5600 E. Commerce Ave, Flagstaff, AZ 86004.
