Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Manistee, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
0.42 mi of construction of a roundabout including hot mix asphalt reconstruction, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, sidewalk ramps, culverts, drainage and pavement markings on US-31 at M-22, Manistee County. This project includes a 5 year materials and workmanship pavement warranty. Control Sec Job No Federal No HSIP 51012 210154A 22A0228 Net classification required for this project is Comb/Jt. 1518 Cb, Ea or Comb/Jt. 1518 Cb, J or Comb/Jt. 1518 Ea, J In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes subclassifications of Cb, Ea, J and L. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in those subclassifications it must use prequalified subcontractors. Those subcontractors must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder. MDOT - 2202 032 Construction of a Roundabout Including Hot Mix Asphalt Reconstruction, Concrete Curb and Gutter, Sidewalk After award, start work on the date approved by the Engineer, which must be no earlier than July 12, 2022. In no case may any work be commenced prior to award by the Department. All contract work, except for second application of pavement markings, landscape plantings, and watering and cultivating, must be complete by the interim completion date of October 31, 2022. The project must be completely open to traffic by the open to traffic date of October 31, 2022.
