Bids will be for the removal of the superstructure and substructure on HAN-TR 204-0.53, over Eagle Creek in Marion Township, Findlay, Ohio; the replacement of the said structure with a three (3) span, prestressed concrete box beams superstructure (spans each being 39'-6" with a 30* left forward skew) on stub abutments and cap and column piers on drilled shafts and construction of all approach work including grading, paving and construction of all necessary drainage facilities. The project length is approximately 460 feet. No contract shall be entered into unless the bidder possesses a valid Certificate of Compliance with Affirmative Action Programs, issued by the State EEO Coordinator, Certification Section, 77 South High Street, 28th Floor, Columbus, Ohio 43215, dated no later than 180 days prior to the fixed bid opening date. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 and 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. replacement of an existing single span pony truss bridge with a proposed three span bridge with a total project length of 460 feet. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. The owner intends and requires that all work embodied in this Proposal, together with all additions will be completed in 180 days from the Notice of Award or a Completion Date December 1, 2022, whichever is sooner. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Hancock County, Ohio as issued by the Ohio Department of Commerce, during the life of this Contract. .
