As of March 2, 2022, project has been awarded to ANA Site Construction for a total amount not to exceed $2,136,640.40. The construction project includes: This project consists of installing approximately 2,460 LF of 18-inch PVC wastewater main, 2,300 LF of 12-inch PVC wastewater main, and 230 LF of 8-inch PVC wastewater main. The southern end of the wastewater main will connect to an existing manhole just north of the 7-Eleven at Preston Road and Oklahoma Drive, and the northern end will connect to an existing manhole north of Tractor Supply and south of the intersection of Oklahoma Drive and Ash Street. The work includes the installation of wastewater pipe by open cut and jack and bore, and corresponding appurtenances, erosion control/SWPPP, site restoration and seeding, fence and pavement removal and replacement, traffic control plan, and bypass pumping. There are no fees to view or participate in this procurement process. The City strongly requests that bidders submit responses electronically. Electronic bidding eliminates errors, unnecessary work, and is friendlier to the environment. Prospective Bidders are urged to register as a vendor and become a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The City's eProcurement website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the eProcurement website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the City's eProcurement website. Prospective Bidders may examine or download the Bid Documents anytime online through the eProcurement website. All questions shall be submitted through the eProcurement system. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $1,600,000. The Project has an expected duration of 120 calendar days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the price in the bids, the Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. Unreasonable or unbalanced unit prices will be considered sufficient cause of rejection of any bid or bids. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding conditions under which the work is to be done.
