This solicitation is authorized pursuant to Government Code Section 14838.7, which provides for the award of contracts for the acquisition of construction, including the erection, construction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any State structure, building, road, or other State improvement of any kind, that has an estimated value of greater than $5,000.00, but not more than $333,000.00, to a certified SB, including a micro business (MB), SB for the purpose of public works (SB-PW), or a disabled veteran business enterprise (DVBE). A bid over $333,000 will result in rejection of your bid due to nonresponsiveness. This contract requires Prevailing Wages if the total bid amount exceeds $15,000. If the total bid amount is under $15,000, then Prevailing Wage language will be removed prior to award. A. Contractor shall install new roof system according to the specifications outlined in this Agreement. B. Contractor shall install clad metal edge and miscellaneous flashings. C. Insulation shall be installed per manufacturer's recommendation. D. Final roof inspection shall be arranged for the roofing system manufacturer's representative to inspect roofing installation upon completion and submit report to Contract Manager. Contract Manager shall be given 48 hours advance notice of date and time of final inspection. Contractor shall supply all equipment, materials, labor, and incidentals necessary to install a silicone roof coating restoration system, including the roofing material and furnish and install, cover board, insulation, flashing, bonding adhesive, and other accessories and components, not mentioned, which are required for a complete, securely fastened and weather tight installation at location.
