Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

All in accordance with specifications on file in the office of the Director of Public Works. The project includes 13,000 SY of removing concrete pavement, 5,800 CY of common excavation, 5,000 Tons of base aggregate dense 1 1/4-Inch, 6,300 Ton of breaker run, 10,700 SY of new concrete pavement 8-Inch, removing and replacing 4,000 LF of curb and gutter, removing and replacing 900 SY of concrete driveway, remove & replace 3,500 SF of 4-Inch sidewalk, remove & replace 800 SF of 6-Inch sidewalk, removing light poles and replace with 26 new type 5-Aluminum poles, arms & LED fixtures, installing 3,400 LF of schedule 40 2-Inch conduit, 450 LF of schedule 40 3-Inch conduit, Electrical Wiring 9,800 LF (#12 AWG), 13,000 LF (#10AWG), 30 LF (#2 AWG), 9 new pull boxes, 1 Lighting Cabinet, removing 1,900 LF of storm sewer(various sizes), 1,900 LF of new storm sewer (sizes 12" to 15"), installing 21 new inlets, remov-ing 25 manholes & inlets, constructing 4 new manholes (sizes from 48-inch to 72- inch), 2,200 SY of top soil and sod, remove/replace existing signage and pavement marking, construction stak-ing, traffic control and any other incidental items necessary to complete said work. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same and must be accompanied by a contract and bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashier's check, in the sum of five per cent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Kenosha as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award of contract. Should any bid be rejected, such check will be forthwith returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such check will be returned upon the timely and proper execution and securing of the contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute the contract and performance bond, the amount of the bid bond or check shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The form provided for "Bidder's Proof of Responsibility" shall be completed and returned to the Director of Engineering not less than five (5) days before the date of bid opening. Bidders can examine and obtain this form by going to website. The successful bidder shall be re-quired to furnish Worker's Compensa-tion and Liability Insurance as enumer-ated in the specifications. The City of Kenosha reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid considered most advanta-geous to the City of Kenosha.
