Contract 2022-01-W Pershing Boulevard Area Water Main Relays 60th Street - 46th Avenue Intersection 60th Street - 47th Avenue Intersection Pershing Boulevard - 60th Street to 67th Street - 145 LF of 12" Water Main; 3,625 LF of 8" Water Main; 185 LF of 6" Water Main) . The installation of new water mains, including the re-connection of all water services; the restoration of right-of-way disturbed during the project - both pavement and parkway. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same and must be accompanied by a contract and bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashier's check, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Kenosha Water Utility as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award of contract. Should any bid be rejected, such check will be forthwith returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such check will be returned upon the timely and proper execution and securing of the contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute the contract and performance bond, the amount of the bid bond or check shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. To obtain an electronic delivery of bid documents go to kenosha.org. Under Departments choose Water Utility. On the left menu bar choose Construction Projects & Specifications. A fee of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) will be charged for any bid documents you download. The form provided for "Bidder's Proof of Responsibility" shall be completed and returned to the General Manager not less than five (5) calendar days before the date of bid opening. The successful bidder shall be re-quired to furnish Worker's Compen-sation and Liability Insurance as enumerated in the specifications. The Kenosha Water Utility reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid considered most advantageous to the Kenosha Water Utility. Contract, shall commence Work on or before March 15, 2022, and complete Work by July 1, 2022
