Renovation of a municipal facility in Lihue, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The deadline to submit requests for clarification of the requirements of this IFB is 4:00 p.m. (HST) on January 25,2022. All clarification requests shall be submitted via HePS QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS section, and all responses shall be issued in an addendum. The University reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any defects when in the Directors opinion such rejections or waiver will be for the best interest of the public. In accordance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, this proposal is accompanied with a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total amount proposed. Scope of Work The project shall in general consist of but is not limited to the following, as called for on the Plans and Technical Specification: 1. 4452 One Stop Center Building (OSC) a. Replace pre-finished sheet metal roof gutters and rain leaders with painted stainless gutters and PVC rain leaders. b. Repair modified bitumen roofing damaged in demolition or installation of new work. c. Replace standing seam metal roofing and associated flashing at Main Entrance roof. d. Repair DEFS and EFIS wall and soffit damage in demolition or installation of new work. e. Replace latch at existing roof scuttle hatch. 2. 4457 OCET Building a. Replace pre-finished sheet metal roof gutters and rain leaders with painted stainless steel gutter and PVC rain leaders. b. Remove tube skylight and install pre-finished sheet metal flashing.
