Demolition, site work and new construction of a residential development in Bryan, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for the construction of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The City of Bryan is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the demolition and re-construction of a residential structure located at 1522 Dansby Street, Bryan, Texas. New dwelling to be 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath. Approximately 1173 square feet heated area- per plans. Remove the brick ledge and brick veneer on rear and both sides of house from the foundation and floor plans (brick only on front). In locations where brick has been removed, utilize James Hardie Hardiplank(R) Lap Siding - Select Cedarmill materials in place of the brick veneer. All other siding and trim materials called out under item numbers 19, 20 and 21 in the "Reconstruction - Building Specifications" starting on page 26 of 98 shall change from Louisiana-Pacific LP(R) SmartSide(R) materials to the equivalent style and dimensional materials of James Hardie(R) products. Siding and trim abutments and joints shall be neatly prepped as per specifications prior to painting. January 18, 2022@ 10:00 a.m. Deadline for written requests for clarifications. The right to accept any bid, or to reject any or all Bids and to waive all formalities is hereby reserved by the City of Bryan, Texas. When the contract amount is $50,000 or more, a performance and a payment bond in an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon faithful performance of the contract in accordance with the plans, specifications and contract documents and payment to all persons supplying labor and materials, shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall accompany the signed contract. No Bid Bond shall be required on this Project.
