Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Deadwood, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security, which shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid in the form of a certified check or cashiers check or not less than ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid in the form of a Bid Bond by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota in accordance with SDCL 5-18B-2. The Bidder to whom the award is made, shall furnish a 100% Performance Bond & 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota in accordance with SDCL 5-21-1 within 10 days of the Notice of Award to the successful Bidder. No bid shall be modified, withdrawn or canceled for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the date and time set for receipt of Bids. The Bidder shall submit a properly executed Contractor's Qualification Statement, AIA Document A305 with the Bid Proposal. Bidders are highly suggested to attend a prebid conference with representatives of the Owner and Architect to discuss contract requirements, securities, contractor's work and storage areas, construction schedule and requirements for contractor's personnel working on the Project.
